Proslavljeni španski napadač Fernando Torres započinje trenersku karijeru. El Nino će od sljedeće sezone voditi juniore Atletico Madrida, kluba u kojem je ponikao i proveo ukupno 14 godina.



Torres je po drugi put napustio Jorgandžije 2018. kako bi se preselio u japanski Sagan Tosu, gdje je godinu kasnije završio igračku karijeru.

Poslije dve godine u penziji, odlučio je da se vrati kući i oproba u trenerskim vodama.

Zanimljivo, predvodiće generaciju u kojoj igra sin trenera seniorskog tima Atletica Diega Simeonea.

Pored Atletica, Tores je kao igrač nastupao za Liverpool, Chelsea i Milan. U selekciji Španije odigrao je 110 mečeva i postigao 38 golova.
